In response, American troops built improvised bridges and pontoons using boats, steel plating, and simple materials. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1045\" data-end=\"1213\">During this activity, you will do the same: as a team, you will build an original WWII Raft, strong enough to carry a real army truck! And after that?
